My promise to you and your student!
Focused and fun.
We want our Wednesday nights to be completely student focused. Everything from the songs sung, games played, lessons taught... it's all run through the lens of teenagers. Our desire is to make Wednesday night the perfect midweek mood-booster – a Godly encouragement in the middle of a busy week.
It's not just Wednesdays either, here's what else we have for our students:
Any Other Day, Really
We genuinely believe that ministry should happen whenever and wherever! Because of that, our semesters are full of alternative programming that happens outside of Sundays and Wednesdays. You might find a small group leader taking students out for a movie on a Friday, or the whole group getting together for a pool party on a Saturday afternoon! We know these fun outings as Hangouts. Even better, you might find a group of students serving at a local nursing home on a Tuesday night through our #EastWinServes iniative.
Sunday Mornings
Our student ministry offers a Sunday School class every week at 9:30. Each month, a different one of our student ministry's team members leads an engaging Bible study and discussion based on a different topic relating to our world and our faith. Our Sunday School class is open to any students, 6th – 12th grade. However, we know our high school students might desire a deeper dive into the Word. For those students, our adult Sunday School classes invite them in with open arms.
Wednesday Nights
Wednesday nights are the bread and butter of the East Win Student Ministry! It's where our teaching hits home the hardest, applying timeless Biblical truth to the ever-changing world of our culture. It's also where the biggest connections happen! We work hard to make sure students have ample opportunities to create and deepen Christian friendships, as well as developing intentional connections with adult leaders and mentors who will be there for them every step of the way.
Wednesdays start at 6pm
and end by 8.
